It’s just been confirmed that I will be shooting with a major Fitness magazine when I fly home to renew my work visa in January. I found out on my birthday a couple of days ago, a great way to start the next birth year, but it also means that I will have to put my building phase on hold until after the shoot is done. What’s kind of interesting is that the timing of the shoot will be almost the same as my two shoots last year with Jamie Watling and Liana Saadi. Those were great shoots, and I learnt a lot from them, prepping, posing, etc, but I feel like a whole new woman now. I hired one of Canada’s top coaches, Jean-Jacques Barrett to help me reshape my body all year, and I was truly amazed at the results. I’ve never been able to achieve much definition in my legs ever in my life, and for the first time I had clear quad and hamstring separation. I also never had 6 pack abs before, just really pronounced obliques, but his nutrition and training protocols changed all that for me. Now, with a year of solid eating and lifting and competing under my belt, I have to say I am really, really excited about this next dial in. I feel like I’ve put on some more muscle, but will it hold up with a solid 6 weeks of dieting? Will my symmetry have improved at all? Will my glutes come in a little bit bigger, (as I’m hoping), and will my arms hold on to some weight, or will the get too lean again?
One thing is for certain, I will faithfully document my training and nutrition for you, and hope that my process will give you some tools to use in your own process….
Much Love and Light!
xoxo
