Meal 3, Eating Nutrient Dense Foods…

January 5, 2012 by Michelle

Just before heading off to the gym to nail an epic leg session, I savored some goodies picked up at Nature’s Basket in Bandra. This little grocery story is a “World Food Emporium”, with both expat and indian shoppers jostling along narrow isles crammed with cans and packages and enticing bottles of gourmet and ethnic condiments and products. This is where I’ve been scooping up my lamb racks, sausages and bacon, and on this particular trip I decided I needed to eat some good cheese along with the imported salamis I had also bought. They have a pretty decent cheese counter, with some delectable looking bries and cheddars, so that’s what went with. I don’t particularly like to eat big buckets of food, just small, nutrient dense meals filled with vitamins, enzymes, micro-nutrients and minerals. For a great resource about nutrient dense eating, check out www.westonaprice.org and also www.threestonehearth.com. Yes, I am getting conditioned for a photoshoot coming up in 12 days, and yes, I am still eating rich, delicious, decadent meals!
