I’m currently on a 5 day split, which means I do Legs, Chest and Tris, Back and Bis, Shoulders/Abs/Calves, and an OFF Day. As I haven’t been dieting at all, I like to keep my body fat in check by blasting through a Metabolic Workout on my days off from lifting weights.
Today I want to target my glutes a bit more, so I came up with this workout:
Warm-Up
4 minutes on the rower
10 inchworms
50 body-weight squats
20 total glute-bridge marching
20 total kosack squats
20 squat to vertical jump
25 minute Circuit:
10 burpee to high knee jump
25 pull-throughs
15 banc assis
25 BB Bent Over Rows
10 Semi-Stiff Leg Dead-Lifts
10 show-and-gos
Finish with 100 Twists (to loosen up my back)
I love making up new workouts for myself depending on what body-part I want to target…In this one I’m going to do as many full circuits as I can without taking a break for 25 minutes…I’ll keep track of my number of circuits on my i-phone and try to beat that number next time…
