Rich Almond Milk

Yield: 1 cup

Ingredients:

1 cup soaked, blanched almonds

2 cups water, including soaking water

2 tsp agave

1 tsp vanilla

pinch salt

Procedure:

· Puree almonds and water; strain through chinoise

· Let “bloom” 24 hours in the fridge, then season with salt , agave, and vanilla , blending foam into milk

    I’m not sure, it’s an extract from the cactus plant, and is a natural sweetener like maple syrup. Try a heath food store Marina!
