Sunday, June 12th…
First day of dieting in the bag!!! I don’t know about you guys, but I find that first day of a dial-in the toughest, kinda like the first heavy rep on the hamstring curl, lol. I’ve spent the last 5 weeks indulging myself, getting my carb tolerance back up, (nothing crazy, but a sandwhich here, an icecream there, etc) and I had to really dig my heels in a few times today when the first hunger pangs set in…Those creamy lattes at True Fitness were calling my name after I taught the 6:30 pm, and dinner was at least an hour out, but ohhh no, I hung in there, telling my self things like: abs are in the kitchen, dieting is the difference between 8%bf and 10%bf, eat to win, bodybuilders are competitive dieters…phew! But I made it, and now I’m ready to rock and roll, giddy-up!!…I already know that tomorrow will be a heck of alot easier, and now it’s just a matter of taking it one beautiful day at a time. Yes, I have made it my mission to be more creative with some vegetarian recipes this time around, and I’ll be posting them on the blog.To every one else on a conditioning protocol, good luck to you all, stay motivated, and Chew Your Food Slowly…Savor Every Bite, and Every Flavor, It Will All Be Worth It, Let’s Do This!! xo
