Tamari Almonds

January 17, 2013 by Michelle

I like to tops my low carb salads with roasted nuts, and came up with this recipe that reminded me of a salad I had at Masa in New York City.

What You’ll Need….

300 grams of raw almonds
2 tsp of tamari
2 generous splashes of Worschestire Sauce
2 – 3 drops of liquid Stevia

Toss everything together on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 20 minutes at 300˚ F, stirring every 3 -4 minutes to ensure evening baking.  They are done when the liquid is absorbed and they are a dark golden color.

1/4 cup: 11 G Fat, 5 g Protein, 5 g Carbs!!!
